Our premium solar carport combines a watertight roof with long-lasting engineering excellence. Delivered as a complete kit, it includes solar panels, integrated rainwater management, cable systems, Glulam wooden construction, steel anchors, and all necessary fasteners. Safety is paramount

Energy Ports views the spaces beneath its solar carports as public areas where safety is paramount. While Dutch 'Bouwbesluit' regulations provide general Consequence Classes (CC), they lack specific solar carport guidelines, unlike German standards which offer detailed requirements. Energy Ports adheres to the stricter Dutch CC2 class, aligning with German norms for both construction and solar panel glass roofs. Through rigorous testing of our own panels, we ensure maximum safety for all applications.

IEC 61730 Fire class B

IEC 61730 with Fire Class B is an international standard that defines safety requirements for glass-to-glass photovoltaic (PV) modules. This certification ensures modules meet strict fire safety and mechanical resistance requirements, validating their suitability for safe installation and operation.

EN 12600 pendulum - fall through test

The EN 12600 test, a European standard for glass strength assessment, simulates human impact on glass panels to verify safety in overhead applications. While not standard for bi-facial glass panels, Energy Ports voluntarily conducts this rigorous testing to ensure superior safety in its Pergola Solar carport system.

IEC 61215 Mechanical load test

The IEC 61215 mechanical load test is an international standard that evaluates the durability and safety of crystalline silicon PV modules under simulated real-world conditions, ensuring reliable performance throughout their lifetime.

Rain water management

Dutch regulations require effective rainwater drainage (HWA) for carports and covered structures to prevent flooding and manage urban runoff. Energy Ports meets these requirements through an integrated water-management system that ensures efficient and sustainable drainage.

Our patented Bell Lock® and Ridge Lock® systems cut panel installation time by 50%, reducing costs and site disruption while enabling safer below-level installation.

Short installation time

While foundation work varies with soil conditions, the solar carport installation process is streamlined through pre-assembled components and minimal SKUs. The system's efficient design, including integrated cable management and gutter systems, ensures quick assembly with minimal site disruption and waste.

Maintenance

Panel damage is inevitable over time, which is why our ICS design enables single-panel replacement from below without disturbing adjacent panels. A simple bolt release allows panel removal through lateral movement, making maintenance quick and efficient.

Transparent Dual-Glass Monocrystalline HJT Solar Cell Laminate

The aesthetic integration of our carport system is achieved through black solar cells set in transparent glass panels (610W), complemented by anthracite RAL 7016 powder-coated frames, gutters, and construction elements. The panels' 5% sunlight transmittance creates a pleasant ambiance beneath the carport, while the large panel size ensures a seamless, homogeneous appearance from below.
